Notes for WANACA PIERCE: Wanica Pierce and his daughter, Mary Ann were killed when both were struck by lightening while watching an electrical storm from the back porch of Holmes Pierce's home during a family gathering. Holmes was also the son of Wanica. The house where this took place was situated on a hilltop on East Commerce Street, Bridgeton, New Jersey.
