A Cheswold School, before 1924

Regarding the photo above, Cara Blume says:

This is certainly a pre-1920's school, but I suspect that it must be the "white" school. The background indicates that it is in town, and I doubt that there would be a postcard of a "colored" school. There were two Moor schools in the Cheswold area before the P. S. du Pont reforms of the 1920's (designated 143a and 143b). One was a one-room school south of Rt. 42 across the road (is that McKee's Road?) from the railroad tracks and not far from the location of the later du Pont Moor school. It has been incorporated into a small dwelling, and is visible only as a different roofline. The other school, located west of Cheswold on the north side of Rt. 42, was a two-story building which later became the home of Clem Carney, at least as I understand it.
