2. William H. Carter's parents: David C. Carter (the ties are wife Rosa Lee Carter and the informant, Edward H. Carter)...
AND mother,
3. Rosa Lee Ware Carter, parents John Ware & Martha Hill. (Informant David C. Carter.)
4. Mabel E. Rush Carter Ray, parents Henry R. Rush & Carrie Lewis. (The tie is informant Harry R. Carter at the family home, 734 Winton St.)
5. Charles E. Wright, parents Joseph Wright and Sarah Blount. Charles & Mary are Lynn's 2nd set of great-grandparents. Charles lived at 744 Winton St.

7. King David Merrick (full name acc/to Lynn). Parents Isham Merrick & Mary E. Walker. (Informant is wife Estella.)
8. Estella Ennett Carter. I can't find Estella's death certificate in Pennsylvania. Did she pass after 1963, the latest date certs. are available online? This is needed to see whether her parents are named. But she is listed in the 1900 census in N.C., father & mother George & Hester.
Before the family was found in the census, 1900, N.C., I had come up with a scenario based on the mention of Emily Emmett/Ennett as sister-in-law in 1920. Here are the (abbrevated) censuses.:
Key: birth states are in this order - named person's state of birth, then father's, then mother's. So PA-NC-NC means the person named on that line was born in PA, then father born NC, then mother born NC.
Abbreviations: marr = married; dau = daughter; ldgr = lodger; sis-i-l = sister-in-law.This is Emily's death cert: Emily is single, her surname is Ennett, her father is George Ennett (perhaps at one time Emmett), mother Hester A. Tuner (perhaps meant to be Turner: a marriage cert was found for H. George Ennett to Hester Turner), and the informant on Emily's cert. is Estella Merrick. I could not find an Emily as a descendant of the Merrick family, so assumed that the sister-in-law mentioned in the 1920 census is the sister of David's wife, Estella - which gave Estella a surname, Ennett/Emmett.
Estella was found in the 1900 census, Wilmington, N.C. as a child of George & Hester along with siblings Emily & George. The Ennett family was also found 1880 & 1910 .
