He died on 23 Jun 1929 in Millsboro, Indian River Hundred, Sussex, Delaware. He was buried on 26 Jun 1929 in Indian Mission United Methodist Church (old Johnson's Chapel) cemetery, Hollyville (near Millsboro), Sussex, Delaware.
