Hugh married Mary Harden about 1817 in perhaps Delaware. Mary was born about 1795 in Kent Co., Delaware; or Montgomery Co., Pennsylvania. She died on 2 Dec 1880 in Collingswood, Haddon Township, Camden, New Jersey.

They had the following children:
